I am Nathan John Giose, and I was born the 05-February-1999. My languages are English and Afrikaans. I am from Mitchell's Plain, and I have no Criminal Record. I have a valid drivers licence, and reliable vehicles.

I am a hard-working, goal-driven leader that makes the best out of every moment. I always work towards getting the best results. I am empathic by nature so I always do things in a way that everyone will be happy. I have pronounced troubleshooting skills. My communication and interaction with peers, managers, and supervisors are excellent- when the need arises. I have always been interested in modernizing and creating content on computers.

Whether it was websites, or creating new applications- I would always find a way to make things easier and seem more attractive. I've been wanting to do coding since 2010 because my friend gave me the best insight into the field, "You will always challenge yourself as a Developer- so that you can never stop improving the world", and now I am finally on the right path to becoming an established developer. I have two friends that told me to come to Life Choices as Life Choices would assist me in growing my knowledge. They knew what I wanted to do, and saw the amount of work I produce. This is my passion, web development in coding- All the way!

My Technical Skills includes Windows Server, Windows, Linux Debian, VBScript, VB.net, Office 365 (full suite), Microsoft Office (full suite), Powershell Scripting, Network Administration, Information Systems (B2B, B2C, C2C...), Cisco Packet Tracer, WireShark, Virtualization (Hyper V, VMware...), Visual Basic (applications and consoles)

My Passion Board includes Reading, Painting, Learning; watching Udemy/LinkedIn videos (David Bombal, Ray Villalobos, and Eli the Computer Guy), Network administration, Playing around with Packet Tracer and Wireshark, Coding+writing my own codes, and building computers. My Soft Skills are being empathetic, great listening and communication skills, teamwork, time management, goal-driven, problem-solver and negotiation skills, as well as Public Speaking.

Experience

LifeChoices Junior Front-End Developer

At LifeChoices Coding Academy, I was taught the basics of Front-End Development. A few months have passed, and now I am a well established Full-Stack Junior Developer. I have profound skills in HTML, CSS, Javascript. My skillset also involves advanced Python and Linux. Coding is not the only thing I was taught by this amazing institution, instilled in us were how to do Public Speaking, and Business Management. I appreciate Life Choices.

iiNet Technical Support Agent

At iiNet, I had to use my advanced technical and troubleshooting skills to assist customers in with their networks. I had to assist users by troubleshooting their fibre, LTE, ADSL and wireless technolgies. Because of my ability to display empathy, and build a relationship with a customer in a short space of time- I was also asked to assist new Technical Support Agents in finding a way to remember their troubleshooting and scripts.

Woolworths Head Office Network and Systems Administrator

Woolworths was the funder of my Bursary for two years, and with this they gave me the opportunity to learn as I study. I was a Network and Systems Administrator that mainly specialized with Virtual Machines. I was not limited to that, I dealt with Citrix, and CyberArk as well. Woolworths is an amazing family, and the experience they gave me is highly appreciated.

Education

Damelin 2020-2021

My first year of Diploma studies, was Information Technology that focuses on Information Systems and Networks. I ended the year with 3 Diploma passes and one Pass in the second semester. The subject in the second semester was Information Systems; Systems Software; Programming; and Networks.

Damelin 2019 NC: IT- NQF5

For my National Certificate, I did a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) equivalent course that was solely focused on Server 2008 and Server 2016. I got 100% in Windows Server Enterprise Administration.
